AMERICA’S POLITICAL CULT
During the past several years, America’s democracy has been subjected to a multitude of presidential actions challenging and destroying the Constitution. The use of executive powers to violate the rule of law, compromise the courts, eliminate governmental checks and balances, change or eliminate rules which protect the public good, intimidate the free press, use of public funds for personal gain, compromise of safety and welfare, cancellation of treaties. These are just a some examples of the actions operationalized by the Trump administration and his followers.
Hundreds of political appointments were made and actions taken which have compromise the very foundation of the Republic. The president, has built an organization, co-opted members of the congress and created a following to deconstruct our democracy while establishing a political cult. He has appointed those who he believes can fulfill his goals and if they are troublesome, he fires them. All of these acts converge into a hub representing the Trump Political Cult.
Simply, Trump’s cult is like all other cults. It is based on group and individual sociological and psychological characteristics. Cults in part are developed and based on authoritarian leadership and loyalty, elimination of critical thinking, exclusiveness, isolation, opportunity, power, absolute answers, no other alternatives, group think, us vs them, self esteem, no norms, mind manipulation, power, no boundaries, recognition, and so the list continues. Cults terminate when there is no longer active leadership or membership.
Our present government is currently functioning in the shadow of the Trump political cult. Trump came to power by troublesome societal conditions over past decades and the very democratic Constitutional framework which he seeks to destroy. The political cult he has created can only continue if the authoritarian leadership power is maintained through re-election. Trump and his surrogates will do anything and everything to destroy an open participative election. For Trump the November election is the keystone to the continuation and growth of his political cult, legal cover for misdeeds , personal gains and the further deconstruction of the American Republic.

They do not give a damn if you live or die, are employed, have economic security, secured retirement, an education, health-care, or guns (they will surely subvert the second amendment) .
The choice is yours, demand a secured vote at home, mail in ballots and let those in power know, otherwise you will lose your freedoms, rights, liberties and perhaps your life.
